I think I am in perimenopause, how long can a period last before seeking medical advice? - perimenopause long periods

I'm 39 and my periods were regular until my last child. Well, my period lasted 17 days and counting, which I of course no different going on here? Are there other things to pay that attention?

Most of us here TTC Preggo or not menopause in the least ...

Not to scare him off, but it is something to monitor very serious and too often, when they approach menopause. Go find your gynecologist for an emergency appointment, tell them you need an ultrasound examination of the ovaries, for 17 days and fears that a ruptured artery cyst. My friend Cheryl had this 41 years and when he finally had a belly full of blood and required surgery and was in great pain. Call now, should be not just good.
